Funded Projects from the State Budget
LEK-AM is developing two research projects as part of a co-financed competition organized by the Medical Research Agency and funded from the National Budget focused on development of innovative solutions in the field of new pharmaceutical forms of approved medicinal products, generic drugs and biosimilar drugs. LEK-AM received funding from the State Budget to implement the following:
1. Development of a novel combination medicinal product for use in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus
The purpose of the project is to develop a combination medicinal product for use in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, along with the production technology. Within the framework of the project activities, research work will be carried out in two areas: the development of the composition of the complex medicinal product and the development of its production technology. The project consists of eight tasks covering industrial research and development work.

2. Development of a two-component medicinal product used for the therapy of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
The purpose of the project is to develop and implement a new generic drug for use in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), along with the production technology. Within the framework of the project, research work will be carried out in two areas: the development of the medicinal product constituting a generic drug and the development of its production technology. The project consists of tasks covering industrial research and development work.
